How can we make space for repair and remaking?
Episode 2 of Being to Being Podcast with Whatever Mike
In these times of heartbreaking dehumanization and disconnection throughout the world, how can we re-humanize and reconnect with each other in our daily lives and communities? We all have a part in hurting each other, so how can we all be a part of healing each other?
In this new episode (linked below), I sat down under a Cypress tree with friend and pop musician Whatever Mike, where we shared some of the vulnerable insights and questions we’re living through right now, including:
How can we hold space within to fully take account for the harm we cause each other while also allowing space for us to grow into a new way of relating to one another?
How can we come into relationship with the part of our spirit that could never be harmed while at the same time deepening our relationship to our fragile human bodies and the harm inflicted in the world?
How can we meet the shame and resistance to it that arises within us when we are shown how we harm ourselves and each other in our relationships?
How can we hold the space within ourselves and between each other that allows for the full spectrum of our emotions, our bodies, our spirit, and our humanity?
